We are pleased to welcome Scott Kimbell as our guest speaker. Scott will share practical guidance on protecting your property and belongings through proper insurance coverage. This session is valuable for anyone who is insured—whether you are a homeowner or a renter.

Scott will address real-life insurance situations, including:

• Understanding insurance limits and how to strategize where additional coverage may be needed

• What to be aware of if your home will be vacant for a period of time

• The benefits and risks of having a mortgage versus owning your home outright

• Common insurance issues that can arise when a home is part of a trust, and how to avoid them

• Ensuring the correct values for Alternative Living Expenses (ALE) on your policy

• How to prepare for and respond to a catastrophic loss, and why pre-planning is essential

Scott Kimbell is with Kimbell & Sons, a homeowners insurance claims advocacy firm serving Georgia and South Carolina.

Kimbell & Sons advocates for insured individuals by:
